Concerning the HPB letter to Solovyff which I posted at:

http://blavatskyarchives.com/blavatskymyconfession.htm

I give below Michael Gome's Assessment of the
"My Confession" HPB letter:

=======================================================
...H.P.B.'s reply, headed "My Confession", is the highpoint
of his [Solovyoff's] narrative. While Vera Zhelihovsky
has charged him with manipulating certain passages in
this letter it can be regarded on the whole, even in
translation, as a representation of Mme. Blavatsky's feelings.

Her statement begins with an allegory, a fragment of which she
quotes in a letter to Sinnett on Feb. 7, 1886. . . .

Not much of a confession by any standard. . . .
========================================================

Quoted from:

Gomes' "Introduction" to Beatrice Hastings' SOLOYOFF'S FRAUD.

Notice Michael's words:

"This letter it can be regarded ON THE WHOLE, even in
translation, as A REPRESENTATION of Mme. Blavatsky's feelings." caps
added

If I truly understand Michael's statement, I certainly agree with
his assessment.

And certainly the letter was:

"Not much of a confession by any standard. . . ."!!!
