Zen-Buddhism & Theosophy

THE ZEN ART OF BEING A THEOSOPHIST?

 Dear Friends,

“Zendo” is the meditation hall. There the Zen disciple meditates – and sleeps at night.

A zen-buddhist author wrote something about the “Zendo” which could be written about the theosophical life:

“A zendo is not a place for bliss and relaxation, but a furnace room for the combustion of our egoistic delusions. What tools do we need to use? Only one. We’ve all heard of it, yet we use it very seldom. It’s called attention.” (1)

Best regards, Carlos.
