DANIEL'S CODE

Dear Daniel,

Perhaps you can kindly comment the two messages below, from me and from Sufilight, and clarify your position.

Best regards, Carlos.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Dear Sufilight,

Most important point, the one you made, thanks.

I guess Daniel Caldwell's website is rather a commercial enterprise, with no real commitment to the theosophical movement. (No problem with that.)

It is rather natural, then that he intensely uses Theos-talk for his own commercial purposes. (I hope in future he can improve in some aspects, though).

At the same time, Daniel does not need to fight the film "The Da Vinci Code" -- IF he is doing this.

I fully agree with the importance of the debate about Vatican's power- mechanisms, which "The Da Vinci Code" -- popular and fictional as it is -- has been helping to popularize.

The whole strategy developed by the Vatican and the Opus Dei consists in leading the public and the debate from "fiction" to "reality".

They say "all is fiction" in the "Da Vinci Code". Then they try to lead people to their own false presentation of facts, "scholarly" as it seems.

You really made a point here. As you correctly say,

"Who bribes the scholars? Are the "Jesuits" on the loose again at
 http://blavatskyarchives.com/Ehrmanbibliography.htm#Vinci ?"

"Fiction" in this case is much better and more real than "Reality" since it reveals a deeper reality under the guise of fiction.

I did not see the Opus Dei possibility in Daniel's approach on the issue at first sight and you enhanced my vision.

Yet Daniel may bring to us other and better materials from his websites, which will recognize the importance of "The Da Vinci Code".

Investigation goes on. Hellow, Daniel, will you clarify on that?

Best regards, Carlos.
