Dear Friends, 

As to those who make a constant propaganda about Mr. Solovyof's and Mrs. Coulomb's  attacks against the theosophical movement, there is a revealing episode for us all to think about.

A few days before her death, H.P. B.  described  the action of those who would try to destroy the movement from the  inside, infiltrating before attacking:  
 
? No opportunity will be lost of sowing dissension, of taking advantage of mistaken and false moves, of instilling doubt, of augmenting difficulties, of breathing suspicions ....? (1)  
And, indeed, there are even today  people breathing suspicions against the main founder of the movement.  Unfounded suspicions, repeated like a mantra -- like the Nazi technique of repeating  LIES until people get used to them...
