MAHATMA LETTERS

Friends,

There are several ways of studying the "Mahatma Letters".

Two of them are:

A) Line by line, going to reference books like "Reader's Guide" (V. Hanson and George Linton), "Combined Chronology" (M. Conger), "The Mahatmas and Their Letters (G. Barborka), Encyclopaedia Britannica and many others, besides the "Chronological Edition" (edited by Vic Hao Shin, TPH-Manila) ;

b) Reading it more freely, in what it sounds insightful to us right now; and just jumping over all obscure lines/sentences/paragraphs, with no remorse.

Both ways are correct.

The Letters are and will remain the most important volume on the process of occult learning (Pedagogy) available to theosophists; and from the highest source possible.

They are not a Gospel, because no "Manual" is possible in Occultism; yet they do constitute an unlimited source of insights, especially to those who aspire to lay discipleship or to a deeper understanding of the learning process.

Best regards,  Carlos Cardoso Aveline.
