Well, one can have fun with how much the Masters actually know, but it is  
very easy to get caught up in the daily news and forget that there have been  
times when things were a lot worse.  The Black Death was real, Bird Flu is  
probably just a variant on the common cold.  Explosions in the Middle East  are 
dramatic television but the Battle of Somme killed 60,000 men in a single  day 
and it's explosions were a lot bigger.
 
The prophets of doom lack perspective and a good rule to follow is if  
someone on television uses the word "crisis" to describe something, it probably  
isn't.
