The 1900 Koot Hoomi Letter to Annie Besant

Two correspondents have written to
me as a result of a recent post on
Theos-Talk asking for more info especially
concerning the views of Walter Carrithers
and Dallas TenBroeck concerning the
genuineness of the 1900 Koot Hoomi
Letter to Annie Besant.

At this point in time, I will simply
say that it is my understanding that
both of them did NOT consider this letter
as genuine. That is, the letter was NOT from the real
Master Koot Hoomi.

Dallas once gave his view on this 1900 KH letter
in a letter to THE ECLECTIC THEOSOPHIST and
also more recently in a posting to Katinka Hesselink on
Theos-Talk. Walter gave his views in various
ways. He discussed this letter in great detail with me
on several occasions. I believe some of his papers and letters
also give his "negative" view about this letter.

Later at a more appropriate time, I will post
the relevant material.
