Re: Theos-World Contact With Masters Is Not Verbal

Carlos,
Seeing most of us are not in direct communication with Atma Buddhi as our 6th principle, is dormant in its own reality, what use then is the contact, or more precisely the contact would fall on the deaf ears of the Higher self. Obviously HPB 6th principle was awakened, with the help of her master, and therefore provided the means for thought transference.

Perhaps all the Masters can do is inspire us, by providing non-verbal clues to any spiritual question we may be dealing with?

Or are you suggesting that Master contacts higher self and then higher self inspires a change in lower self thinking? Also I am wondering if it is non verbal how does the brain analyse it?Even when using our intuition we are able to support it with rational analysis.

I have to agree with Daniel's viewpoint by the end of his posting below.

The 1900 Letter clearly expressed what would be the means of inspiration and upliftment of the movement from that moment.

That way of contact had already been in operation since 1891, and it is indeed a key hint for us and for future generations of students.

The Master says in that letter:

“AT FAVOURABLE TIMES WE LET LOOSE ELEVATING INFLUENCES WHICH STRIKE VARIOUS PERSONS IN VARIOUS WAYS. IT IS THE COLLECTIVE ASPECT OF MANY SUCH THOUGHTS THAT CAN GIVE THE CORRECT NOTE OF ACTION.” (1)

This is a most meaningful statement.

The History of the movement since 1900 has confrmed it is accurate. It implies communications are NOT verbal, not literal; they are Budhic, and Buddhi-Manasic, at a non-verbal, abstract, subtle level.

From 1900, all attempts to "channel" the Masters failed -- and these attempts created the most embarassing episodes in the History the movement.

Contact is available -- through one's own Monad and Sixth Principle. It is not visual or verbal. It is not "personal". Realizing this, common sense prevails.

 Regards, Carlos.
