Jake, what you write BELOW is quite interesting.

It will also be interesting to see if others will give their views
on this.

So are you saying that Julia in this article was giving out:

Pure dugpa BS!...???

Remember the title of Julia's article defending HPB is based on this
dugpa quote.

And did Judge as the editor of THE PATH or HPB herself bear some
responsibility for allowing this "pure duga BS" to infiltrate the TS
in the pages of THE PATH and especially HPB's Esoteric School since
there is evidence that this material probably circulated in her
Esoteric school???

Shoot! We can't even blame this on Olcott and Besant and
Leadbeater and Besant and Maude Travers!! Or can we? :)

I'm seeing more that this whole
"letter" is hokey. The pseudo-teacher
says that "each of us has a dugpa inside
of us." WE DO NOT! This is not
supported anywhere in the literature.
We have a high and low self, and the
low self is not a "dugpa"! Here's the
supposed teacher quote, according to
ver Planck:

"Judge the action, not the person. You
never know the true motives. Never
judge human nature on its lowest level.
Every one has a potential Dugpa in him."

Pure dugpa BS!

It also has the psuedo-teacher
saying "judge the action, not the person."
WELL, THIS IS BS TOO! Of course you
judge the person. It is a meaningless
statement. You judge the person in
everything. If you lock a person up
for a crime, do you lock up the "action"
and not the "person"??? In the genuine
teacher letters, people were most
certainly judged, as in this statment
from the MLs:

"Cook is a _pump of filth_, with
perpetually working pistons and the
sooner he screws them up - the better
for him." (MLs, p. 271, TUP)
