Some on “secret” groups

Dear friends,

In the discussion about "secret" groups within certain Theosophical
groups, I would like to share two things.

1) Regarding an Esoteric School within the Temple of the People. As
far as I know they have then no "E.S.", but on the other hand (more
then one) inner sections, called orders. This can probably be seen
as something similar to an E.S. This was confirmed to my, be the
present Guardian in Chief Eleanor L. Shumway in an E-mail earlier
this year, on a question to her about the "Temple Orders":

"The Orders of the Temple are the increasingly deepening commitments
we make to living our Spiritual principles. Members may choose to
advance in the orders or not. Everyone is responsible for their
own spiritual unfoldment."

So they have inner groups, and they are still active. And if one
look in the old editions of their magazine `The Temple Artisan' on
their webpage, one will find that some of them are menaced.

2) Regarding Dr Franz Hartmann. The `Theosophische Gesellschaft in
Deutschland e.V.' was founded by Dr Hartmann in 1897. There is an
E.S.-organisation, with in this Society. And it is still active.
Their (T.G.'s) web address is:

http://www.theosophische-gesellschaft.com/

Beside of Hartmann's, there are three other independent Theosophical
groups (as far as I know) in Germany active today. If they have any
E.S.-organizations; I do not know.

Regards,

Carl
