All that Work!

Re All Dan's Work

All Dan's work he ennumerates is
impressive, and it comes across as some
sort of "self-sacrifice." But the thing
is, that it is NOT self-sacrifice, because
he can't Stand to Do Anything Else!! Ask
him. I know myself, because I do the same
thing. I've put myself at least 10,000 hours
into archiving theosophical-related material
onto computer, at least 40,000 pages. I've
self-published 10 theosophical books - all
of which work no one wants, basically. You
can't give the stuff away. Look at the
work people do for free on the web - just
theosophically - the huge UTF/Iyer website,
John Desantis's work at Wisdom world, Wheeler
and others on the "Aquarian Theosophist,"
- or this talk site in evidence, Eldon Tucker's
work. Or Pelletier's reprints. All of this
is equal or more that Dan's work. (I didn't
see dan spreading any credit around.) If
you do critical work and take some theosophical
into practical life, which is at base an
attack on all the world's "vested interests,"
you can loose your livelihood and your
life! People working on "the other side
of the law" are also huge workers. People
on the good, neutral, or nefarious side of
things can be huge workers, its a neutral principle.

you get the money for that?"

<Well, it is even MORE expensive to collect books,
material and do all
the research that I do. Since 1968, I have worked on
these projects
and I have supported them thru my own funds earned by
... working.

<I have never kept track of the total amount of money
expended on my
Blavatsky work. I would suppose thousands and
thousands of dollars
of my own money has been devoted to this project.

<When I was still a student in college, I supported
Walter Carrither's
Blavatsky Foundation sending $50 per month to help
support Walter's
research and work. 50 dollars may not sound like alot
of money but
in the 1970s and when I was still a student that was
alot!!

<Before the advent of the world wide web and the
creation of my
website, I used to spent hundreds of dollars
photocopying material
for ......................

<And I suppose I will continue to my dying day working
on more
Blavatsky projects and my website.
