Well, when I reply to a message, I just manually erase the part of 
the message or messages that is in the posting I am replying to.

Just erase what you don't want to appear in the posting you are 
sending. Maybe there is some automatic way to do this, I don't know.  
Manually deleting it takes a little longer but then subscribers like 
Jake don't receive these extremely long message with all that extra 
text!
