It is not difficult to see that, according to the esoteric philosophy taught by  Masters and HPB, sexual love must be polarized by the possibility of  having children.  And this is a man / woman issue.  
 
It is a ?conservative? viewpoint, of course, from present-day viewpoint.  But Masters and Initiates are not obedient to  fashionable ideas.  
 
This, of course, does not mean persecuting or comdemning homosexuals,  at all.  
 
The emotional suffering of homosexuals is probably intense in some cases, if not in most.   Their difficult sexual choice must be the result of  painful emotional processes and may be linked to some kind of reactions to situations of  intense fear, insecurity  and lack of love in childhood, often in early childhood.   
 
Human beings who received a good share of love and protection in  childhood will normally take advantadge of the fact that the physical bodies of man and woman were technically, physiologically and   anatomically ?specially made to  each other?, so to say, by Nature.  In the man/woman  relationship,  the energies of love can really work in full,  without creating kundalini deviations or other problems which may be in some cases occultly  dangerous.  It is the man/woman relationship which has the blessing of perpetuating our species, and  this  has no small importance for Occultists.  
 
In his commentaries on Elipha Levi?s book ?The Paradoxes of the Highest Science?, an Adept says:
 
?Woman must not be looked upon as an appanage of man, since she was not made for his mere benefit of pleasure any more than he for hers; but the two must be realised as equal powers though unlike individualities. (...) Woman?s mission is to become the moder of future occultists ? of those who will be born without sin. On the  elevation of women the world?s redemption and salvation hinge. And not till woman bursts the bonds  of her sexual slavery, to which she has ever been subjected, will the world obtain an inkling of what she really is and of her proper place in the economy of nature.  (...) Then the world will have a  race of Buddhas and Christs, for t he world will have discovered that individuals have it in their own power to procreate Buddha-like children or  ? demons.  When that knowledge comes,  all dogmatic religions, and with t hese the demons, will die out. ?  E.O.?  (1) 
 
?E.O.? stands for ?Eminent Occultist?, an Adept.    
 
The last part of this commentary by the Master was used by HPB in ?The Secret Doctrine?, vol II, p. 415, Theosophy Co. edition. (Same volume and page in Boris de Zirkoff?s edition, TPH/Adyar.)  
 
To say the least,  Raja Yoga recommends great moderation in sexual topics, especially to those who have an interest in divine wisdom.
