Friends,
I strongly recommend the movie "An Inconvenient Truth", with Al Gore.
Gore is a friend of Fritjof Capra's and has a profound planetary consciousness. His view of life is broadly theosophical and the planetary citizenship which he supports is quite decisive in the present moment.
