Cass,
   I read there that the Plasma (Neon) extends for 3000 miles before it 
reaches the surface which it characterizes as an "Alloy" composed of a ferrous 
element mixed with a Calcium/Calcite blend and that once beyond the "surface" of 
Iron Alloy there are many stratification's of various elements found on the 
Periodic Chart.

   I wondered if the ancient Hindu spoke of the Sun as "Iron" and if H.P.B. 
did also.
