It would be interesting to see if you get any response to the questions you
raised.

With the publisher being owned by the organization and the editor of the
book being a high official in the organization, one wonders what level of
authority the members have had. It is not unlike in the publicly held
corporations where the directors are hand picked and dont have much say. For
example the Enron had the former dean of stanford business school (one of
the top business schools in the country) and a distinguished professor of
accounting who did not have the guts to point out the conflict of interest
and lack of controls even a first year accounting student would have
noticed.

When individuals deals with organizations, any conflict with the positions
of those in "authority" is bound to result in the marginalizing of the
individual. This is normal in any organization and should be expected.

Anyhow, it is my hope that in the coming days more info may trickle out on
what went on, even though it may take time.
