The ULT And The Others

Carl,

Thanks. Let's contextualize it.

Dallas' opinions deserve our respect. As they come from his heart and were sincere, we have respect for them, don't we?

Now, this is not a discussion as to the succession of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in a conventional money-searching multinational corporation, as Caldwell sometimes seems to try to see it. It is more complex than that.

Dallas has his insights, his views.

Point Loma groups will have different insights, perhaps.

Pasadena wil have other ideas to offer. And Edmonton TS. And HPB students in the Adyar TS.

All of them deserve my respect.

And there is indeed mutual respect among these groups. Each individual person is entitled to join the group he or she finds the best, and this person will probably have a feeling of respect for the other ones.

We all know that there was dissension in the past, well fed by hostile elementals and by enemies of the movement.

As we are now -- we, all HPB/Masters students -- we can see one thing: that which we have in common is much, much greater than that which could separate us in one or other particular aspect. This is And this is Theosophy; this is the Universal Wisdom.

It would therefore be extremely naive for someone from one of these groups to come to Theos-talk to say that "his group is right" and the other ones "are wrong".

See what I mean? There is a wider magnetic field than that.

Truth is beyong personal differences of view. It is also beyond corporate divisions. The ULT Declaration of 1909 is clear about that.

Before you ask, the only problem with part of the Adyar Society is that it has closed itself behind the doors or ceremonialism, well-proven illusions and blind belief.

It will take some time, perhaps, for these quarters of the Adyar Society to awaken. When they do so, it will be a major positive event for the theosophical movement as a whole.

I believe in cycles and rebirths.

Regards, Carlos.
