ULT - last atempt

My attempts to obtain direct answers to questions about the ULT have
resulted in some of the most bizarre responses, both on this site and in
direct e-mails, of my experience. It’s been like trying to obtain direct
answers from politicians! For an organization that claims to be open and
non-authoritarian, the non-responses suggest an organization more like the
secret service.

As a final attempt, let me repeat the questions:

1. Does the ULT have archives? [surely the answer is “yes” or “no”]
2. By whom are the archives owned? [they must legally be owned by some
person or corporation – is it, e.g., the Theosophy Company?]
3. Who controls the achives? [i.e. from whom does permission have to be
obtained for access]

I have received answers about free public access to ULT libraries, but
obviously my questions are not about libraries.

To which I have added:

1. Does the DES exist? [surely the answer is “yes” or “no”]
2. Who is/are the head/heads of the DES in this world? [someone must have
authority to decide on applications for membership]

I’m not looking for long philosophical responses – just direct answers. I
would accept a direct answer like: “We are not prepared to answer that
question.”
