"...have never answered a single historical question directly unless...."

Gregory,

You write in part that in your personal dealings with ULT associates,
you have found that they "...have never answered a single historical
question directly unless it could be done with an (apparently) almost
memorized section of one of the ULT official tracts."

This is quite a significant observation and one might wonder why this
is the case?

Is it just by accident that all of these associates have answered you
in this way?

What is the causative factor or factors that are influencing these
associates to respond in such a similar fashion?

Has belonging to the ULT organization had an effect on these members
in the way you describe?

I suspect one could do a thesis/dissertation on this "phenomena".

Having a background in psychology and sociology, I find such
observations very intriguing.

Daniel
