The jumpy mind

Friends,

I don't remember positively saying Judge was not a mason. I did not study his life in depth. I remember I said the theosophical movement as conceived by HPB has generally a positive view of Masonry as a tradition and as a philosophy, and that there are Masons who are theosophists, but that no ritualism whatsoever should be considered "theosophical" or stimulated.

I agree with MKR that apparently there are no signs that Olcott was active in Masonry after 1875. I guess that as to historical facts, we should try to keep to facts which have a source, as much as possible. To say "it might be possible to prove that..." is no sound basis.

It is like Leadbeater saying there is a strong agriculture in Mars, and that everyone jumps like Australian cangoroos in Mercury, due to the limited amount of gravity in that planet.

They might so jump, if they existed; but they don't; and it is better for us not to jump to conclusions.

Carlos.
