Avalanche from Aveline ego Mountain

Dec 30, 2006 05:27 AM
by Mark Jaqua

Another Landslide from Aveline ego Mountain

So now Carlos begins to Lie (he thinks
it is permissible to defend his style
of theosophy - which is what cultists do
too.) KH said in the MLs that he almost
got pulled into that trap of "ends and
means" but got saved by his uncle. He
also calls me a girly-man. In personal
email he called me a queer and a coward.

Lie No. 1:

He writes (Dec. 28):

<"...What would John Guarrangues [sic]
( someone who never existed, by the way)....>

   He said Garrangues doesn't exist
several times, but knows Garrangues was
the primary mover at ULT, LA, for years.
Garrangues was the author primarily of
"The Theosophical Movement, 1875-1935"
and the book "Point Out the Way," and a
President of The Theosophy Company from
some time after Crosbie's death 'till
his own death in 1944. J. Wheeler, editor
of "Aquarian Theosophist," said they used
to call him "Uncle John." (If I can depend
on this...., as the time-line doesn't
seem to match to be a personal account)
So why is Carlos lying about this, something
that doesn't seem to matter? Maybe he
thinks "anonymity" is some teacher-ordered
new doctrine in his strange perspective.

Lie No. 2 (see repost below):

Dr. Tillet (2 reposts below) says
that tax-records say that the Theosophy
Company was worth $6.1 million in 2004,
and that about $5.4 million of this was
other than property. (It'd be good if
someone else could check this out, or say
if it is available on line. I'm inept
at this type of stuff.) I don't think
any organization calling itself Theosophical
has any business having unused (or personally
used!)money like this around, and it means
to _ME_ that ULT has fallen, it is no
more a bonafide center of work. Organization
-worshipping is not a Theosophical doctrine.

Aveline says in several emails - that
this tax-record is all just a lie - that
Tillet is lying about it all. And in
his reposts of it, HE DELETES PORTIONS
OF TILLET'S STATEMENT, to cover up the
information on property, etc. Why doesn't
he ask ULT for the real information then,
or look it up himself (as these scammers (?)
won't reply to anyone - not even Tillet's
inquiry about their archives.) I'll
tell you why - because Aveline thinks it
is OK to lie for ULT. Just like a cultist,
he equates this organization with Theosophy.
He thinks ULT, the teachers, and Theosophy
are all the same thing.

    Lets see..... some more psychological
profiling, or "guesses." My bet from his
tantrums at being disagreed with, and
love of the limelight, that (at about 50
yrs of age) he was an Only Child, or that
he was adopted, or that he was the Youngest
Child, separated by at least 5 years from
his nearest sibling.

Just the opinion of a poor little
wussy girly-man, (according to Aveline in
comparison to himself.) (The reposts
below are important, to anyone who gives a .....)

<Documents lodged for taxation purposes
by The Theosophy Company for 2004
shed some light on that organization. Its directors were: Wesley
Amerman (President), Joseph Martin (Vice-President), W. Dallas TenBroeck
(Secretary), Rosemary Jourdan (Assistant Secretary), Colin Baker,
Howard McOwen, Joseph Rudison, Lavera Samuels, Carolyn Van Horn and Valerie
TenBroeck. At the beginning of the year it had assets of approx. $6.1 million, and
by the end of the year approx. $4.9 million. Some $627,000 had been
transferred to the ULT of New York. The Theosophy Company paid some
$160,000 in salaries (although none of the Directors received
payments).

<Its income was approx. $1.3 million, and it owned land and buildings to
the value of approx. $666,000. There were loans of approx. $110,000
outstanding to three named, but otherwise undescribed individuals.

<Gregory,
Thanks, it is interesting. I wonder "why" New York ULT received the
$627.000 transfer? Is there a tax record for the New York ULT? There
looks to be some $303,000 difference remaining unmentioned as regards the $1.2
million change in assets of 2004 after $897,000 of stated expenses and
disbursements are deducted.

<2a. Getting to know the ULT?

<Carlos' statements about the ULT continue to confuse me.

<Apparently the ULT has no organization and apparently therefore no
headquarters, But I should visit the ULT in Los Angeles. Why Los
Angeles?..............

<.......Incidentally, the Theosophy Company does have a structure, organization
and officers, and a headquarters. It is a corporation registered in
California (Number: C0115989), originally incorporated on September 10,
1925. Its official address is 245 West 33rd Street, Los Angeles, CA
90007.

<Its Agent for Service of Process is West H. van Horn of the same
address.

<Perhaps some Californian friends might like to search further in the
State corporate record to identify office holders, assets and such. The
corporation is run by a board of seven trustees. How are these
appointed? Can I presume that this corporation owns the ULT building (if not
headquarters) in Los Angeles? After Crosbie's death, John Garrigues was
apparently President of the Corporation, succeeded after his death in
1944 by Grace Clough followed by Henry Geiger. It has been claimed that a
1938 case a court ruled that the U.L.T. was a business belonging to John
Garrigues.

<Similarly, there is The Theosophy Company ? New York Inc, a
not-for-profit body incorporated in New York, with its address at 347 East 72nd
Street, New York, NY 10021. Can I presume that this corporation owns the ULT
building (if not headquarters) in New York?

<Likewise, there is the Theosophy Company Limited (Company Number
00239143) of 62 Queens Gardens, London, W2 3AH, England, a private company,
limited by guarantee with no share capital. Can I presume that this corporation
owns the ULT building (if not headquarters) in London?

<There is also the Theosophy Company (India) Private Limited at 40 New
Marine Lines, Mumbai 400 020, India.

<What is the relationship of the Theosophy Company/ies to the ULT? How
are the members/directors of the Companies appointed?

<Equivalent information is readily available in relation to, for
example, the Adyar TS.
