The Blavatsky Archives has received
a stunning reproduction of a 1889 photo
of Madame Blavatsky. We have produced
a web version of this photo which can

One can see the cigarette in HPB's hand.
This photo was apparently taken just a few
months after HPB's magnum opus THE SECRET
DOCTRINE had been published.
