Glad to see what you wrote below.

No organization wants independent thinkers. In all organizations, while
formed with good intentions and motives and objectives, in due course of
time, money, & property, gets into the picture & the actions of
organizational leaders gets distorted because they have to protect these.
In addition organizational leaders in general belong to the older
generation, which is self evident, and have grown up in an atmosphere where
they are able control the flow of information to the followers/members etc
and cannot see what role Internet can play in furthering the objecives of
theosophical movement. (I wish HPB is here and we could see her exploiting
the power of Internet.) No one wants to change, especially if it involves
giving up importance, money, power - direct or indirect including the
imagined spiritual gatekeeper role some think is their inheritance!!!!

With the dawn of Internet era, I am of the opinion that the world is ready
for a different kind of loose flat structure - a virtual structure formed by
individuals worldwide with a common interest - which has nothing to do with
money or property or hierarchy based, in which each one is truly equal to
another without distinction of caste, creed, race, color or national origin
or any other factor which have traditionally separated one human being from
another.

Let us make the best use of the technology where each one of us can think
critically about anything and communicate with anyone in the world on a
24/7; not on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. Other than the social
aspect of people physically getting together, the virtual situation would
is ideal for the growth of each one of us.
