The "Myth and Mankind" series is for mythology lovers.

In both of her major works
ISIS UNVEILED and THE SECRET DOCTRINE,
H.P. Blavatsky deals with various
mythologies of humankind. Many readers
know little about these myths and therefore
find what H.P.B. writes about confusing, etc.

In working on a list of recommended books on
world mythology, I have discovered a series of
books that many students of Theosophy may
find of value.

These books cover 19 mythologies of the ancient
world. Each volume is beautifully illustrated with
colored photos and reproductions.

In fact, the "Myth and Mankind" series is for mythology lovers.
The series blends mythology with the art and history
of each ancient culture. Each of these volumes
is lavishly illustrated in color.

A list of the titles with reproductions of the beautiful
covers of each book will be found at:

In a week or so I will be presenting a recommended list
of general books on mythology which will also be helpful to
readers of HPB's books.

More later.
