Re: Theos-World Blind mindsets?

Hi John,
It was nice of you to answer and explain what You meant. I
agree with what you wrote here. I myself have done many
things theosophists would disapprove of. I attended a
place [called Teaching of the Inner Christ, offshoot of
Science of Mind] where I did the table tipping with this
group. Yes, the table stood on two legs in response to
spirits. I rather enjoyed this. I did this even thro my
theosophist friends were warning me of the dangers of
mediumship.
I also checked out Channeling, one called Mafu, Penny
Torris Rubin.

As much as the theosophists and even HPB warned of the
dangers of mediumship, most objective books written on HPB
suggest that HPB was a medium herself.

She did channel 5 different Masters, and I knew their names
at one time.
I do hold HPB in high regards. In her writings, I get
the feeling that she gives hints and clues and even blinds
and that it is up to me to see beyound these.

She has said that some knowledge would be dangerous if
released too soon. I understand this.

I spend many hours in SD of HPB and she said many times
that she gives hints and sometimes even blinds. It is up
to the student to understand the hints and see thru the
blinds. Actually, I really only read HPB as I figured I do
not need others to translate her to me.

misc thought: number 33 you mentioned. Did you know the
masons use this number 33 as the top number in their
initiation scale. 33 means something but this is not my
area of knowledge and I do not know.

Again, I understand and agree with what you wrote. I have
just joined this list and I am still 'getting into the flow
of the mind streams or idea streams' which flow on these
lists. Discussion is good.

misc, I attended the Long Beach, California, ULT study
sessons held in Long Beach. We had good discussions,
discussing what we each thought HPB or WQJ meant. A
simple sentence of HPB or Judge would bring on 45 minutes
of discussion of what we each and all thought that
sentence meant.

Best regards to you John
