In the USA, there are some fundamentalist preachers truly believe in the
second coming of the Christ and getting ready for it. They all expect the
second coming to be a continuation of the christian church as it is now and
if it does happen, then we can expect some of these rich preachers exploit
the second coming and make them famous and richer. In my city, there is a
preacher who lives in the most expensive residential neighborhood and money
comes pouring into his church. I hope the second coming is not the way all
of these writers and preachers expect or anticipating.

One other angle need to be considered. When your target audience is in the
west, naturally a christian bias well play well because of the conditioning
of the common man who grew up in the traditional christian belief system,
both socially and spiritually.

This from a putative Tibetan Buddhist Master?

It seems blind, messianic fervour infected many at that time
including Bishop Leadbeater, Dr Besant and Alice A Bailey.
