Your letter called forth in my memory a poem written by: Robert
Browning. A poem that I read about thirty years ago, but have not
been able to find again.

By my memory, the poem includes the texts:
..."St.Sergius three times vouched for me"....
..."See Christ stand" .....

Do you, - or someone on the list know this poem?
