Laotse wrote in Tao Te Ching something like:

When being a man one becomes a woman but still stays
as man one becomes a channel of the Eternity.

Why wouldnt it be vice versa?

Maybe priests needs women or maybe it is just important
that those two energies meet each other in mass as well in
every day life. We still live in this cycle where we are sexually divided.
One of the Mahatmas said that they recommended co-operation with women
though in their orders it was not allowed, but still they was in connection and
co-operation with Madam. In Egypt they had lots of priestess. Aslo Subba Row
has written about women avatars in his esoteic teachings. But in buddhism they have
very little amount of nuns, as far as I know.

Anyway I belive that LCC brings out a good view of esoteric side of christian
religion and stands therefore for reason in its own place.
