Re: TS Adyar President Election

Hi all,

This letter isn't exactly convincing as John Algeo is actually the
younger of the two candidates. I vividly remember my dismay when Radha
told Australian members of the TS that the internet was not a good
place for spreading theosophy - because it was also a place where a
lot of porn was being spread. This was a few years ago, and I'm sure
she's changed her opinion since - but it sure didn't help the TS Adyar
become a force online. We are still lagging behind the TS Pasadena and
the ULT - though the ULT has 'helped' us by deleting a large amount of
valuable online material from their website.

Offline the TS Adyar is the only serious theosophical organisation.
But online one would think the TS Pasadena really is as big if not
bigger. While we can't blame Radha for this situation exclusively -
national sections and individuals were at fault for listening to her -
I do feel it shows that Radha really isn't the person for the job for
another 7 years.
