Re: Theos-World Three Reasons to prefer Algeo over Burnier

Thanks for your post.

The key issue in the current election is Radha Burnier's physical and mental
health.

All the electioneering going on against her is based on her poor mental and
physical health.

Even after taking the unusal step of getting examined by two physicians and
their giving a certificate of her current fit health, the leaders of the
sections who have canvassed their members on the basis of poor health of
Radha Burnier, have not had the courage of telling their members of the fact
that two physicians have declared her fit. Also there was a third physician
who is a General Secretary in Europe who also independently said she is in a
fit condition. So the nominators using Radha's health issue does not seem to
have any trust in the judgement of a brother Secretary who has medical
credentials. Incredible!!!

The Secretaries trying to steal the election (to use the political term
normally used in the US) based on erroneous health information is the
unfortunate situation for an organization which is supposed to hold highest
ethical and moral values. All those who are supporting Algeo have been
keeping silent hoping all this will go away.

That would have been so in pre Internet days when the leaders
controlled free flow of information to members. Fortunately, now with
Internet, we are able to discuss them here without interference and I hope
in the long run it will work out. I do not know what kind of Karma is in
store for TS.

If non-age issue was key, then the nominators and nominee should have been
upfront from day one when "real" electioneering started, which I suspect is
about three years ago.

I hope more members are accessing the maillist and keeping themselves fully
informed.
