Yes, I think the rules should be revised as to provide the rules of 
the campaign. In 19th century when information to all of members could 
be effeciently circulated from HQ only, no campainging and the brief 
official information about the candidates was a good solution.
But now, when anyone can campaign, the rules should be framed for such 
an sctivity. At least, any candidate should publish his program: what 
he is planning to do in order to improve work of the Society. Also the 
rules should frame set of methods which shall be considered illegal.
