Re: TS - GC Decisions - Transparency

Dear Ramadoss and all,

I reread Pedro Oliveira's 2003 message which in regard to the
situation in former Yugoslavia says:
????????
YUGOSLAVIA: In 1984, some Lodges in the former Yugoslavian Section
had brought to her attention the widespread infiltration by an
outside organization (New Acropolis, founded by a former member of
the TS in Argentina in 1957) in the activities of the Section. This
was confirmed by a report from the European Federation of the TS. To
make matters worse the infiltration was been spearheaded by the then
General Secretary of the Yugoslavian Section. When the facts became
clear and in consultation with the members of the Executive Committee
at Adyar, the European Federation of the TS and members of the
General Council, and according to the existing Rule of the TS, she
withdrew the Charter of the Yugoslavian Section. She acted
constitutionally to protect the interests of the Theosophical Society
against an attempt to take over the TS in that country.
????????..

There are, in my opinion, several inaccuracies in this message I
would like to point to:

>In 1984<
 In 1983

>some Lodges in the former Yugoslavian Section had brought to her
attention<
 some members (13)

>widespread infiltration by an outside organization<
one person who, during her studies in Paris, attended some NA
courses

>infiltration was been spearheaded by the then General Secretary of
the Yugoslavian Section<
his opinion was that there is no infiltration

>When the facts became clear<
there seems that there was no special interest to reveal the facts

>she withdrew the Charter of the Yugoslavian Section.<
she withdrew the Charters of five Lodges of the Yugoslavian Section

>She acted constitutionally<
 she acted unconstitutionally

>to protect the interests of the TS against an attempt to take over
the TS in that country<
against the interests of the TS, as her action lead to the
disruption of the Section and actually threw several members into the
hands of NA

I invite those interested and Pedro Oliveira to read my paper on this
issue:

Warmest regards,
Anton
