Correction plus what KH said in another communication

In my posting I just sent to Theos-Talk,
the year should have been 1885 in the following
statement:

"You spend a great deal of time going over what C. W. Leadbeater
said was T. Subba Row's view of HPB in 1888."

Plus in addition to the above correction of a typo, I want to give
what KH said in another letter.

The Mahatma Koot Hoomi in his July 1888 communication to H.P.
Blavatsky refers to Alfred Cooper-Oakley
and T. Subba Row and mentions THE CLAIM being circulated at that
time apparently by Mr. Cooper Oakley and T. Subba Row that
the "'Masters' are in direct correspondence and
communication with C.O. [Alfred Cooper-Oakley] ? their TRUE
delegate BEING NOW at Madras ? S.R [Subba Row]...."

And A MONTH LATER in his August
1888 letter to Olcott, Master KH denies this CLAIM being circulated
by Oakley and Row:

"...we employ agents -- the best available. Of these for the past
thirty years the chief has been the personality known as H. P. B. to
the world (but otherwise to us). Imperfect and very troublesome, no
doubt, she proves to some, nevertheless, there is no likelihood of
our finding a better one for years to come -- and your theosophists
should be made to understand it....

...Her fidelity to our work being constant, and her sufferings
having come upon her thro' it, neither I nor either of my Brother
associates will desert or supplant her....

...this you must tell to all: -- With occult matters she has
everything to do. We have not abandoned her; she is not 'given over
to chelas.' She is our direct agent...."
