Thanks for the info. It would be interesting to know about the background of
Fisher. I am sure he is a veteran theosophist. Let us all wish him well in
his new job.

There have been some comments about living conditions in Adyar Campus. There
are several people living there and not heard much complaints. Today,
Chennai is a very modern city and has all the conveniences one finds in the
best of cities in the West and I have known several professional young men
and women who have moved from the US to Chennai in recent years. This
turnaround is astounding. I am sure the inner Founders would have foreseen
all these possibilites when Adyar was chosen as the International HQ. BTW,
the current Internet and wireless phone access is better than in many cities
in the USA.
