Anand Gholap's reply to Betty Bland on bylaws controversy

Below is the reply I gave to Ms. Betty Bland.
-----------------------------------
Dear Betty,
Members had given their verdict in recently concluded Presidential
election. They have elected Radha Burnier by solid margin. After
members around the world gave their decision that Radha would be their
president, why did you bring up the issue of stripping members' voting
right? Your proposal to remove members' rights raises certain points.
These are mentioned by many serious members of TS. I am writing their
views below.
1) You don't honor members' decision of electing Radha Burnier as the
President of TS.
2) You had nominated Mr. John Algeo in the election. Majority members
did not choose him, so you are trying to get that power to him or
persons of your choice by changing constitution.
3) Above issues raise even deeper questions. Should members of your
section trust you and elect you as their leader in American section,
when you are trying to remove their voting rights? Or should they
reject you in American section, because you secretly pushed the
proposal of removing members' right to elect the President?
Regards.
