Re: Theos-World Re: Theosopical revolution?

You are right on target.

I have been shouting for months about the sorry state of affairs regarding
the membership worldwide. No one wants to talk about it. The leaders are
whining and talking about tweaking the rules which will not help a bit about
the membership increase or retention. As as outsider (I am just a dues
paying member), it just looks like a clever attempt by a small group to
seize power before members realize what is going on.

I have also been shouting for years that Internet is a very powerful ally in
our work. No one, except the few who are active here, wants to recognize it.

If only the changes were sold to the members, Internet could have been used
to do it, and once members are behind the changes, no one could stop it.
Instead, the speedy ultra secret disenfranchisement plan has no support from
any member and it has developed traction and the ire of the membership is
not going to be easy to overcome and is going to take time.

If the higher echelon of the TS continuous its present course it will
simply force its members to restructure the society or drive the

My advice to my fellow theosophist who subscribe here is to get off their
mediation matt and get mad as hell - organize and share what you know and do
what you can to remedy this situation.
These crises may simply be an opportunity in disguise.
