My views are:

I find the following part of Anton Rozman's article to be the central issue:

"With later C.W.L.'s return to occupy high positions in the E.S. and the T.S. these organizations only demonstrated that they tolerate immoral behavior, so that "Leadbeater affair" persists to inflame relationships in the T.S. and its relations with other theosophical organizations." (Anton Rozman)

M. Sufilight comments:
Because of C. W. L.'s return a great number of honest theosophists
resigned. One of them being G. R. S. Meade former secretary of H. P. Blavatsky.
To allow C. W. L. to return to a high position within the T.S. like Annie Besant and her friends did, while ACCEPTING that it was - he and no one else - who alone discovered the so-called New World Teacher J. Krishnamurti just shows how misguided the members of the T.S. was in those days, and even today.
