Also give my felicitations to his sidekick, MaryJ if she's around  
this season.

As for 2012... The "new beginning" could be based on the whole world  
seeing the truths of theosophy, recognizing the unity of all, and  
changing their minds in one swoop (without any help from our or their  
friends ;-).  The effects on the human body could be one of getting  
back into shape -- so that when the realization comes that they will  
live forever -- they can get to work and make sure that their bodies  
as well as the Earth, are tidied up and trimmed down before their  
next rebirthday.
