Vril and The Black Sun

Moreover, the whole Black Sun mythos if post World war II, and stems
from the circles around Wilhelm Landig (who wrote about it in his
1970's Gotze gegen Thule trilogy), Emil Ridiger (who was a follower of
Weisthor) and soforth.

The Viennese group used it with great effect, as currently everybody
who is too lazy to do some serious research believes in this farrago
of nonsense.

The idea that the black sun had been a Nazi obsession even going back
to before world war II, has been thoroughly demolished and discounted
by scholars like Hans Jurgen Lange, and Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke (in
his 'Black Sun'). You'll find additional info in Joscelyn Godwyn's
'Arktos The Polar Myth'.

But a Vril Society did exist.

SAincere regards,

Theo
