Hi Cass,

In the sense that everything has to do with everything, you have a 
point. But why would the theosophist succumb to such egregious 
cynicism? What do we think theosophy is, anyway? Do we forget that 
the ancient wisdom was revealed to the world again to bring the 
impulse for a new development in the evolution of the consciousness 
of humanity? No matter how strong the beast of Kali Yuga is, it 
cannot prevail forever. Do we have to continue to wallow in its 
excrement, or can we take the teachings we have been given in such 
profusion and work to become part of a new age. How can this happen 
unless we create it in out own hearts and minds, live it in our own 
daily lives? Fear, hatred, bigotry, despair, anger, suspicion, 
revenge: these partake of the old way, the way of selfishness and 
greed, corruption and disintegration. The theosophist has been given 
the way to a life of hope, faith, love, compassion, truth, self-
resonsibility: the way out of the darkness into the Light of an age 
of peace and brother/sisterhood. Why not embrace the way to the 
Light, for ourselves and for all our brothers and sisters.
