Theo, Christina, all,
Yes there is great danger at the present time in the world of online presence. Below a few Informations on the current threat ongoing.

Cyberwar grows:

Conficker Worm Infects more than a Million PC's: (this thing is extremely dangerous)

I might add that only a few days ago when I booted my PC up in the morning I was greeted with a pop-up "Abnormal Activity detected in Windows Host File" by my Windows Defender Software that stated it was a "Windows Settings Modifier" in the Host Files. I had to immediately Download Windows Update and my internet security software updates, run Windows Defender and Virus Scan for full system, inspect and verify that my Firewall was on and active and that I could update with full access. After rebooting the abnormal file was no longer detected.

I may have been compromised if even for only 12 hours and I don't have a clue in what way or magnitude , Online references were empty and useless.

Regards,
John

Obviously Yahoo isn't going to do that. Just think for a minute: with a little social engineering I could get your username and/or password and ask Yahoo the same thing.

It is incredible that Christina responded to that e-mail, as this is one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Moreover, if (if, that is) she has a Trojan, her pc is probably is a zombie in a network responsible for other malicious assaults, spam and soforth, worldwide.

Do you all also *live* in the 19th century? There are more forgeries except from the Mahatma spam.

regards,

Theo
