Since the theosophy.net social networking site for the Theosophical Network went live Saturday morning, it's membership has topped 100.

The initial admins and promoters of the site include Joe Fulton, Katinka Hesselink, Susan Thomas, and me.

On the site, you can do things like add a profile, upload pictures and videos, start or participate in discussion threads, and have your own blog. The site allows for a greater degree of interaction with fellow students and friends of theosophy.

A bit of the discussion on theos-talk may have dropped off lately as some discussions have started on the new site. The site may not have the same immediacy, intensity, and at times controversy as on theos-talk, but it does provide a way to have many extended discussions coexist over a long period of time where the theos-talk lurkers may be less shy about saying what they think. There is more of a sense of friendliness to it.

If you haven't checked it out yet, take a look and see if it's something you want to try.
