  I searched old issues of "The Theosophist". In 1954 the magazine published three writings about UFOs.
  E.L. Gardner: "Interplanetary Activities". February 1954.

  LC Soper: "Flying Saucers - Fact or Fiction". June 1954.

  In later The Theosophists I found Laurence J. Bendit: "Life on Other Planets". August 1973.

  You guys surely can use Google Books. There you can read also all old issues of The Theosophist.
