There is another issue or two related to the above issue. The issue of changes to the organisational structures of the TS.

Can we safely say, that theosophical leaders in a non dead-letter organisational sense are not following the idea of "apostolic" succession?  I.e. the - real -  new leader chosen by the Masters, might return in another organisation not named "The Theosophical Society", but named something else?

To me it must be logical due to karmic issues, that dead-letter thinking aught to be taken into consideration. Claiming that you are in contact with the masters are not necessarily proof on that you in fact are in contact with them. A tree is known on its fruits is it not.

So what are the honest objective non-biased spiritual fruits of the past as well as present TS leaders?


Has the spiritual fruit of keeping the E.S. section completely apart from TS, and replanting the ES section to be completely connected with the TS just about 20 years later been a very healthy spiritual fruit?

  Actually, Olcott did not have to face elections, as early leaders in TS had decided to have him as President till his death.
