Is everyone in this forum paranoid? Is every criticism or observation one makes considered a personal "attack"?

Maybe I ought to shut up before they start attacking me. ;-)

I guess you are talking about me and Anand?

Please. My dear fellow Seeker, I did not myself say such a thing.
Try to read the e-mails again.

I merely suggested that Joe remained calm within himself, and this does most certainly not imply, that Joe aught to "shut up" or to ask others to 'shut up' or anything like that does it? And it did not imply, that I suggested a long time student to tell me, that I said something which I actually did not say and never had the intention of saying.

Why attack me for seeking to be helpful to all of us?

Dear Joe

I find it impolite to ask a person to "Shut up".
I suggest, that we all remain calm within and contemplate the issues as resonable persons.

I wonder how, after so many years, Joe does not know what is acceptable language in Theosophical forums.

I'm finding it very hard to not say 'shut up' here as well. Joe is trying, like me - to create a forum with a different atmosphere from the one here. That may include asking people who are used to the combative style of theos-talk to please tone it down a bit or even shut up.

Funny that now you two are saying, in slightly different words, to Joe to 'shut up'. :)
