You point being....?
People incarnate within the Law of Karma. We experience what we spiritually need within the Law of Karma. The Karmic Law of Compensation is real. The Karmic Law of distribution is real.

But why on earth should we seek to help people do something stupid?
>From this I would say, that our duty is not to distribute just any kind of information.
Wise distribution of official information aught to be sought - among Seekers after Truth.

"There were portions of the Secret science that for incalculable ages had to remain concealed from the profane gaze. But this was because to impart to the unprepared multitude secrets of such tremendous importance, was equivalent to giving a child a lighted candle in a powder magazine." Dear Morten,
Tell that to the ones who have invented and used the atom bomb?
Am I glad there are other weapons which can easily neutralise a threat like that in the blink of an eye?
The Mahachohan went out of His Head, to forecast so much destruction, He could have tried change the future with His tamasha...but He is a victim of Karma as well, as all living Beings are one way or the other....so I bet He is forgiven ( which again is Karma ).

  Sure.

I wonder what Intellectual freedom within the Law of Karma and Dharma is?

Do we have the moral right or duty to seek just anything - and - do the theosophical teachings not keep various occult teachings very very secret?

  What Is Intellectual Freedom?

Intellectual freedom is the right of every individual to both seek and receive information from all points of view without restriction. It provides for free access to all expressions of ideas through which any and all sides of a question, cause or movement may be explored.

  What Is Censorship?

Censorship is the suppression of ideas and information that certain persons - individuals, groups or government officials - find objectionable or dangerous. It is no more complicated than someone saying, "Don't let anyone read this book, or buy that magazine, or view that film, because I object to it! ."

  Excerpts from:

  http://www.ala. org/ala/aboutala /offices/ oif/basics/ intellectual. cfm

  ...

Intellectual freedom is a human right, as defined by Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Article 19 states:

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

  ....

We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is afraid of its people.

  John F. Kennedy, 1962
