Theosophists aren't supposed to be devout.  We leave that to the  religious

On a different subject, I can see how a truly devout theosophist would find 
 themselves in a dilemma of conscience.  The dilemma of exposing the  
truth, as they see it, and at the same time, judging other's actions.   However, 
HPB nor the Masters ever exhibited such a dilemma

achieve his object.
