Greetings to everyone, I am a newbie here.
I also became familiar with this doctrine of originality a long time ago.
So the Pali texts are the most original ones? There are sutras like the Lankavatara Sutra
which were written originally in Sanskrit, but belong to Mahayana texts.

I like to give you a very profound link recording what colonel Henry Olcott has done in favor of Buddhism on Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
They still have much respect for him on Sri Lanka!
