Re: Theos-World Dugpas and Aghoris

The main line Hindus of all sects would not approve of the methods and life
style of the Aghoris. In the documentary I saw last night, one of the Hindu
priests mentioned that Shri Shankaracharya (the first one who is an Avatar
of one of the Kumaras) seems to have definitely forbade his followers from
the practices of the predecessors of Agori sect. Most of the educated and
clear thinking men and women will never willingly adopt the life style of
the Aghoris. We do not have much information about their yogic practices and
what kind of results they obtained as a result of them. If anyone has done
any research into them, it would be interesting.

Have you noticed that among theosophical circles, there is not much of
discussion of the sects such as the Aghoris.
