Re: Theos-World Brahmin Caste Issue

I think the more important question would by why is she holding onto that
ridiculous, old "World Teacher" notion in the first place. I thought we
had put paid to that nonsense decades ago.

Unless someone is willing to pay me to take the job. I can use the money.

No, on second thought, all those damn memos drifting in from the ether were
the reason I quit last year.

MKR and all,

To bring you back to the point being mentioned by myself below:

The President of the Theosophical Society in an article called The
Watch-Tower published in every issue of the Theosophist -- which is the official
organ of the President of the TS -- mentioned that JK was chosen because of
his Brahmin birth to be a World Teacher.

So what is a casteist person like Mrs Radha Burnier doing as President of
an international organization whose First Object is the creation of a
nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of humanity irrespective of Class, Caste,
Race, Creed etc.? Don't you think it a little strange that even today
despite all her untheosophical activities she is given the power and authority
she has and holds?

Fraternally

Recently, I was discussing the brahmin caste issue with a friend of mine

in

the USA. It was very revealing when he mentioned that out of the 10

Avatars

mentioned in the Hindu Scriptures, only one of them was a brahmin. Many of

them belong to Kshatriya (warrior) class. Two of the most revered avatars,

Rama and Krishna is an example. Rama was a King and Warrior class and

Krishna was a cowboy class. Thought some in the west may be interested.
